Captcha has been the de facto standard for defeating spams.

As most Captchas are constantly defeated, many web sites have been deploying
complex solutions, which badly affect usability and accessibility issues.

Over time, such solutions should be abandoned and web developers should
choose other strong alternatives
that have been proven better.
