Brian Chess and I are proud to announce that our book, Secure
Programming with Static Analysis, is now available.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0321424778
The book covers what static analysis, why it's important, and how it
benefits security. We devote a section to metrics derived from static
analysis output. This is no wishy-washy attempt to correlate a
complexity measure to security: we look at a few good ways (and at least
one bad way) that software builders can use a static analysis tool for
security measurement.
Cheers,
Jacob
